What was your inspiration for this photo shoot?
Mallory wanted something that was different from her other friends so we worked together to come up with outfits and location that reflect her personal style.

Fairhope, Alabama

Did you collaborate with this senior to come up with the clothing and/or concept for this shoot?
Yes! Mallory sent pictures of her outfit choices and we worked together to plan out which outfits worked in which locations.

What camera, lens or other equipment was used for this shoot?
Nikon d700 and Tamron 70-200 2.8

What time of day were these taken?
2 hours before sunset

Can you share any post-processing techniques used when editing this session?
My processing is very clean, so I basically only adjust exposure and white balance and then clean up any background elements.

What is your favorite thing about this session?
Mallory is a natural in front of the camera. We genuinely had a good time while shooting! I love that her outfits reflect her personal taste!

What do you want this session to convey about this senior and about your senior photography style?
I hope that each girl feels special and beautiful for her senior session! I want the images to be timeless and classic for the parents but still feel fun and modern for the girls.

What is one tip you can share with other photographers regarding photographing seniors?
Getting to know your senior and their expectations is the best way to get the most from your time with them!
