I love visiting Farmer’s Markets in the summer time.  The fresh flowers, produce and unique goodies that you can find are spectacular.  But I’ve never thought of doing a senior photo shoot with a Farmer’s Market as the backdrop…until now!

The beautiful, fun session below by photographer Debbie Wilson of Debbie Wilson Photography took place in a Farmer’s Market and as you can see from the photos below it looks like a perfect location for these Class of 2017 Senior Reps!

What was your inspiration for this photo shoot?

The vintage Schwinn bike, cute clothes from a local boutique, Spring vegetables, lemonade and a fun crowd at the market

Where did this photo shoot take place?

Chattanooga Sunday Market, Chattanooga, TN

Did you collaborate with this senior to come up with the clothing and/or concept for this shoot?

Yes, we met at Merch, a local boutique, and worked on the concept for the shoot–easy breezy dresses and casual clothes with flat sandals for a day at the market.

Canon eos mark III and 50 mm lens

Can you share any post-processing techniques used when editing this session?

bump contrast and keep it simple so the colors pop!

What is your favorite thing about this session?

poppy colors, the crowd, the feeling of fun and spontaneity in the shots.  The girls had an absolute blast!

What do you want this session to convey about this senior and about your senior photography style?

I love natural images that capture the mood of the senior and the group.  I seek to find the beauty in each girl and in each vignette.

What is one tip you can share with other photographers regarding photographing seniors?

Have fun and be super silly with them–that is how to evoke emotion and silliness from them and that makes all the images feel relaxed and authentic.
