This week is probably one of the busiest weeks for determining new goals for your business, making resolutions and trying to start the new year off right!  Photographers all over the world are writing out things that they want to accomplish in 2015 and determining what they want to concentrate on this year.  I am no different!

This week I have already begun to work on the things I want to accomplish with my personal photography business.  But I also want great things for Seniorologie too!  So I am making a list, brainstorming and hopefully working on improvements that will continue to make Seniorologie one of the main resources for senior photography inspiration and education!

I have a few things up my sleeve that I can’t wait to share with you all!  Events in the works (be sure to follow us in the next week to hear about that!), new blog posts, contributors that will be sharing their knowledge and experience for others to learn and so much more!

I also want to ask you…what would you like to see from Seniorologie in 2015?  Comment below with any ideas or suggestions!

What are your goals for 2015?  Is one of them to be featured on Seniorologie or would you like to contribute to Seniorologie this year?  Seniorologie is always looking for talented photographers to share their photo sessions for inspiration.  We are also always looking for contributors to the blog to share their insight or experience in a blog post.  I know there are so many talented photographers out there that have such a great message to share to others.  Seniorologie is a great platform for you to share!  If you are interested, have an idea for a blog post or a series of blog posts, email Leslie at info@seniorologie.com.

Take this week, look at your goals for your business and make a list!  Write down your dreams and make a plan to accomplish those dreams.

Research education opportunities.  Make a list of what events will help you accomplish your dreams for your business and make a budget to attend those events this year. Don’t forget…we will be announcing our events soon! 🙂

Then there are the not-so-fun-but-have-to-be-done things that are great to do in January when you are probably not in your busy season.  Taxes!  Ugh!  But they are part of doing business.  Start working on getting the necessary information together, whether you do it yourself or hire an accountant.

And don’t forget to do some things for yourself creatively!  Start the new year off right by planning a few days to just be creative.  Plan a concept shoot.  Try out a new technique.  Or do something similar to what I just did yesterday…I got together with another photographer and played around with studio lights!  I decided to stop being scared of lights and start doing something to add lighting to my options for senior sessions!

Whatever you do, make 2015 HUGE for you and your business!  YOU CAN DO THIS!!!  Seniorologie is here to support you and help you make 2015 the BIGGEST YEAR YET!

xoxo,

Leslie
