Pretty in Pink was the theme of the Senior Spokesmodel Shoot below by Anna Gordon of Rick+Anna Photography in Snohomish, Washington.  Even though it was the middle of winter, it looks like a beautiful spring day!

Anna worked with a floral designer to create a beautiful rose garden and the results are amazing.  Check out this session below and read what else Anna had to share about this session.  Thanks for sharing your work with Seniorologie Anna!!

What was your inspiration for this photo shoot?
Our inspiration for this shoot was the location, the Antique Rose Farm in Snohomish, WA.  Although this shoot took place in February and the roses weren’t in bloom, the talented Althauser Design (http://althauserdesign.com/) dressed the area up with her gorgeous floral designs and created the perfect setting.  We imagined a fun group of girls getting together for a rose garden tea party and then brought that vision to life using the setting and the styling.

Where did this photo shoot take place?
The Antique Rose Farm in Snohomish, WA.  Although they aren’t normally open in February, they generously let us use their gorgeous space for this shoot.  It was absolutely FREEZING, but you wouldn’t know it from how flawlessly our seniors modeled!

Did you collaborate with this senior to come up with the clothing and/or concept for this shoot?
We were fortunate to work with an amazing local stylist, to come up with the clothing and accessories for this shoot.  Everything was sourced from local Snohomish shops including Joyworks (http://joyworks-shopgirl.blogspot.com), D’Marie Vintage (http://www.myfairladystyle.com) and Jadyne’s Room (http://www.jadynesroom.com).  We also had two incredibly talented hair/makeup artists on our team: Hannah ofhttp://www.urbanistaweddings.comand Hanna ofhttp://www.hannamazur.com.  Our stylist, Sarah, met with the girls prior to the shoot to select the perfect pieces for them and the entire team worked together on the day of the shoot to make everything seamless and pamper our models!

What camera, lens or other equipment was used for this shoot?
Canon 5D Mark III’s and II’s, 100mm Macro 2.8L, 50mm 1.2L, 70-200mm 2.8L, 35mm 1.4L, and a reflector.

What time of day were these taken?
Afternoon

Can you share any post-processing techniques used when editing this session?
No special post-processing techniques were used…only basic exposure/color correction.

What is your favorite thing about this session?
Definitely the awesome group of girls!…Although they didn’t know each other going into the shoot, by the end of the day everyone was acting like old friends and it was so much fun! It was also awesome to see the entire vision come to life after all of the planning and coordinating, and to see the girls loosen up and feel beautiful in front of our cameras!

What do you want this session to convey about this senior and about your senior photography style?
We provide a boutique experience for our seniors, and w have a very natural and relaxed style…we really love to bring out the beauty in everyone!

What is one tip you can share with other photographers regarding photographing seniors?
Pre-session planning is key!  Get to know your seniors, tailor their session to them, pamper them, and create an experience that they can’t stop talking about!
