Graduating high school is an exciting time.  Some seniors go off to college and some go on a different adventure, but either way, it is the start of a new chapter in a young lady’s life.  This photo shoot captures a senior before she graduates and heads off to Nashville to pursue her dream of being a singer and songwriter!  How exciting!

What was your inspiration for this photo shoot? Her personality inspired me the most! Her humble personality and down to earth southern charm is amazing!

Where did this photo shoot take place?  Rosenberg, Texas

Did you collaborate with this senior to come up with the clothing and/or concept for this shoot?  Yes, Maddie had a certain feel and look she wanted and just getting to know her, I knew exactly what to do!

What camera, lens or other equipment was used for this shoot?  Canon 5D mark iii, 35mm, 24mm tilt shift, 50 mm, 70-200mm

What time of day were these taken?  6:00pm

Can you share any post-processing techniques used when editing this session?  Edited raws in lightroom 4 and touched up tones in CS6

What is your favorite thing about this session?  Getting to hang out with such an amazing girl! Her smile and sense of humor will amuse anyone!

What do you want this session to convey about this senior and about your senior photography style?  That its ok to chase your dreams and honestly find that one thing that you love and just chase it! 

What is one tip you can share with other photographers regarding photographing seniors?  Really get to know your clients! They will become more comfortable with you and open up to who they really are:)
