Baseball or other sporting events are a great idea to incorporate into a senior photo shoot for your senior models!

What was your inspiration for this photo shoot?
I wanted to provide a destination shoot to my senior models. I started thinking about fun things to do in Minnesota in the summer and baseball instantly popped into my head! The wardrobe inspiration was red, white, and blue, sporty, Americana.
Where did this photo shoot take place?
The photos took place at Target Field where the Minnesota Twins play.
Did you collaborate with this senior to come up with the clothing and/or concept for this shoot?
No, my senior models signed up for my program because of this shoot!
What camera, lens or other equipment was used for this shoot?
CXCanon 5d mark iii, 50mm, 24-70mm.
What time of day were these taken?
throughout the day until dusk.
Can you share any post-processing techniques used when editing this session?
I process my images by hand in Lightroom and Photoshop. No actions are used.
What is your favorite thing about this session?
I absolutely love the Americana vibe of this session. I also love how this shoot brought my models together and they really got to know each other. My models had a blast at the game and it really shows!
What do you want this session to convey about this senior and about your senior photography style?
I want this session to convey how much fun it is to be a client of mine. Nicole Spangler Photography treats each client as if they are her only client. I want this session to also convey how much fun it is to be a senior model for my studio. I also want this session to convey my bright, breezy vibe of my editing style.
What is one tip you can share with other photographers regarding photographing seniors?
Photographing seniors is a passion of mine. One tip I can share with other photographers is get your senior clients really involved in your session planning process. They love to talk about their wardrobe ideas and locations. They definitely have thoughts and ideas about what their session will be like. Listen to them!
