What was your inspiration for this photo shoot?
My inspiration for Sarah’s session was her clothing style. We chose the downtown location that reflected her love for both classy and edgy fashion looks!

Where did this photo shoot take place?
Our shoot took place on the sidewalks and alleyways of downtown Marietta.

Did you collaborate with this senior to come up with the clothing and/or concept for this shoot?
Sarah knew exactly what she wanted before she contacted me, she even had her outfits put together perfectly before our consultation. I could have not suggested anything different-loved that she wanted to incorporate her red heels! Sarah is a photographer herself who loves fashion, she and her mom wanted her session to have more of an editorial/magazine look.

5DMKIII, 85mm 1.8, 24-70

What time of day were these taken?
We started around 4pm

Can you share any post-processing techniques used when editing this session?
My editing is very minimal, I start in Lightroom for base editing, then move to Photoshop for the finishing touches.

What is your favorite thing about this session?
Sarah has a great personality, we just had a lot of fun!

What do you want this session to convey about this senior and about your senior photography style?
Being able to capture each senior that best reflects who they are.

What is one tip you can share with other photographers regarding photographing seniors?
Having a consultation beforehand and knowing what each senior and their family want out of their senior session.
