Color can be such an inspiration for photography.  Whether it is the bright colors as seen in this beautiful session below or more subdued colors if that is your style, color in any form is an inspiration.

What was your inspiration for this photo shoot?
I try to shoot in very unique, colorful locations. Color is my inspiration for most of what I do!

Scottsdale Civic Center in the Beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona

Did you collaborate with this senior to come up with the clothing and/or concept for this shoot?
Absolutely! I always tell my seniors to wear what makes them comfortable and reflects their unique style. I offer my opinion and put my 2 cents in when I can, but ultimately I want them to look like themselves.

Carly! She was such a joy to work with. I truly enjoyed the afternoon!

Fun and a bit quirky!

What is one tip you can share with other photographers regarding photographing seniors?
Be Patient. I’m a very easy going photographer and try not to show stress or worry. I stay professional at all times, but have a sense of humor. I’m developing a relationship with my clients and I hope they continue to use me throughout their lifetime.
