What was your inspiration for this photo shoot?
Our session was influenced by Dani’s style.  Once we had her wardrobe selections, I was able to put together locations that would tell a story about her personality.

Where did this photo shoot take place?
Our session took place in Fresno, California

Did you collaborate with this senior to come up with the clothing and/or concept for this shoot?
I collaborate with all my seniors on styling their wardrobe and finding backgrounds that fit their style and outfits.

What camera, lens or other equipment was used for this shoot?
I shot this session with my Canon 5d Mark III using my Canon 85mm 1.2 lens

What time of day were these taken?
3:00PM till sunset

Can you share any post-processing techniques used when editing this session?
I strive to get my images as close to perfect in camera so I do not have much to do in post.  I love adding depth and contrast to my images to make my subjects pop out off the image.

What is your favorite thing about this session?
My favorite part of our session that Dani go to have the best of both worlds incorporating a country chic style with an urban downtown vibe.

What do you want this session to convey about this senior and about your senior photography style?
I all of my seniors to feel as if they stepped out of the pages of their favorite magazine.  The goal is for the session to reflect beautiful fashion forward style and creating images the senior will cherish for a lifetime!

What is one tip you can share with other photographers regarding photographing seniors?
The most important part of a session to my is connecting with the senior making her fell confident around me and behind the camera.  Once we have a connection and  both feel comfortable, the session just flows and we get the best images!
