What was your inspiration for this photo shoot?
I wanted to implement some Texas inspiration with this shoot. Taylor wore cowboy boots and danced in the field while playing with the gorgeous yellow flowers.

Yes, she brought a few outfit choices and we picked the best one together.

I used a Nikon D600 and a 35mm 1.4 for this shoot.

Afternoon, 4:00 p.m.

Can you share any post-processing techniques used when editing this session?
I edited this session in lightroom.

What is your favorite thing about this session?
Taylor was a great model and so easy to work with! She was very comfortable in front of the camera and enjoyed every minute!

What do you want this session to convey about this senior and about your senior photography style?
My style is light and airy. I wanted to capture Taylor dancing in the field and having a good time.

What is one tip you can share with other photographers regarding photographing seniors?
Giving some posing direction but letting them act natural works well with seniors. Ask them questions about school to make them loosen up and comfortable. If you can make them laugh that is the best!
