What was your inspiration for this photo shoot?
I have always wanted to create something like a fairy tale looking for one of my seniors and I think this location with a beautiful lighting was just perfect for Kylie. We talked about her outfits prior to a session and she did a wonderful job picking them.

Where did this photo shoot take place?
Woods of Pocatello, Idaho and some blooming trees

Did you collaborate with this senior to come up with the clothing and/or concept for this shoot?
What camera, lens or other equipment was used for this shoot?
I used my Nikon d 700 with 85 mm 1.4 for most of the pictures.

What time of day were these taken?
4:30 pm

Can you share any post-processing techniques used when editing this session?
I dont really do too much to my pictures, I like to enhance colors a little bit.

What is your favorite thing about this session?
Idaho gets so dry during summer, so it was nice to have some beautyful green scenery with some sunshine for this session, Kylie was a dream to work with.

What do you want this session to convey about this senior and about your senior photography style?
I just want my seniors to know that my main goal as an artist is to capture who they are . I think Kylie was amazing and her senior session truyl shows who she is, very genuine and sincere girl and it was fun to show her personallity with the location and lighting.

What is one tip you can share with other photographers regarding photographing seniors?
I think its very important to get to know our seniors and to get their vision, to understand what they want their pictures to say about them. Every senior I worked with has a different story and different interests so its always nice to be able to create something new and unique for each one of them. Dont be afraid to ask questions before the session and try to understand what look they are going for.
