I can’t believe it’s been two years!  On one hand it feels like it’s been more and on the other it feels like just yesterday I was writing my very first post.  Seniorologie has grown over that last two years and I can only thank you, the loyal readers and fans for that!  Without you, Seniorologie would not be celebrating this milestone!!

Every day I hope to inspire you, the readers, as much as you inspire me.  Senior Photography is a genre that I love, and I love sharing and providing education for those that share that same passion.  With educational posts such as Seniorologie 101 and Tip Tuesday and inspirational posts that showcase your beautiful images, Seniorologie has become one of the top Senior Portrait Blogs!  And Seniorologie wants to continue to grow with your help!

During the second year, we hosted events such as The Seniorologie Tour Texas and The Seniorologie Tour California, The Seniorologie Shoot Out in Atlanta and the Shoot Out in Vegas, been a speaker at WPPI and met such amazing photographers at each of these events and across the country.  We have recently added online education and tons of classes are coming soon!  There really are so many different ways to learn the art of senior portrait photography and we hope to continue to be the place for you to come, be inspired and learn.

To Celebrate our second birthday, we have a lot going on, all of which will reward you for loving Seniorologie.  We started this celebration early with a new look to the blog.  A new layout allows you to find things easily and keep up to date with what is going on at Seniorologie.

The Seniorologie Image Contest with Get Schooled Photo is also part of the celebration!  Rewarding you for your beautiful images is something we love to do.  Images are being submitted daily and you can still submit yours until August 18 at 11:59 p.m.  There are 8 categories and you can enter an image in each or images all in one category…whatever you choose!  Our judges, Lexi Vornberg of Lemonade and Lenses, Ryan Towe of Ryan Towe Photography, Amii Wroblewski of Amii Wroblewski Photography, Courtney DeLaura of Get Schooled Photo, Caitlin Lazo of Pro DPI and myself of Seniorologie will determine a First Place and Second Place winner in each category.  Check out the Image Contest page here for all the details.

Today starts another fun contest to celebrate our birthday!  We are calling it Pin It, Share It, Blog It, Win It!!  Check out the details below!
